The Amarok can brave steep hills as well as small water crossings. It has an impressive approach angle of 28°, a departure angle of 23.6° (28° without rear bumper) and a wading depth of up to 500 mm.

And over significantly bigger things, too. With a ramp angle of 23°, even large obstacles such as tree trunks and rocks are no longer a problem.

And can even handle roads with a lateral tilt of approximately 50°.

A trailer load of 3.2 t is not even a problem at 12% incline. With a payload of 1 t, it can conquer hills with 100% (45°) incline.

with a larger interval, essentially creating a wedge which significantly reduces the braking distance. This noticeably increases the driving safety.

controlled way, thanks to the engine management’s ability to govern the engine speed, and apply the brakes when driving off-road if necessary. The vehicle’s speed is maintained at a constant crawling pace.

This sealed underride guard is made of 5 mm thick aluminium with reinforcing ribs and is designed to function as a skid. It protects the engine, front axle differential housing and pivot points for the lower transverse control arm. Its design is designed especially to meet the needs of forestry and agriculture.

Robust steel panels protect the fuel tank against stones and branches on the ground.

the wheelhouses, the Amarok can even transport Euro pallets crosswise – unthinkable for most pickups. The low loading sill height of 780 mm makes loading and unloading more comfortable, while the tailboard height of 508 mm allows the transportation of plenty of bulk cargo. All this ensures that the entire 2.52 m² load area is used in an optimal manner. If needed, the sturdy tailboard with a load-bearing capacity of up to 200 kg can be used as a practical extension of the load area. As the number plate is not visible in this case, an additional number plate holder is required for your journey. On models without a rear bumper, the tailboard can even be folded down at a 180° angle to make loading and unloading as easy as possible. The load can be secured on four lashing eyes using tie-down belts.

The optional anthracite-coloured, UV-resistant special coating protects the load compartment from mechanical and chemical damage.

The front wall, load area and the tailgate are optional protected by perfectly fitted corrugated aluminium sheets, while the side walls are also protected with an optimally fit plastic liner.

The lock is accordingly positioned in the tailgate handle.

Painted in the colour of the vehicle, the optional lockable cover protects reliably the load area from dust and rain thanks to the standard seal package. It can be combined with an exterior package upon demand.
